Range of motion testing
- Range of motion is the range at which a joint can move or be moved through manipulation. Essentially, this test is enforced to determine whether the range of a particular joint is normal, limited, or at times, too excessive.
- In particular, the goal of this test it to determine the end feel of the motion, meaning if there is a presence of pain in that specific motion or not. If there is, then finding the exact location and amount of intensity would be the next step.
-
Muscle testing
- This is an alternative medicine practice that aims to diagnose any muscular, chemical or structural diseases/disorders. Hence, this would conclude any internal body issues the patient may be experiencing due to muscle weakness.
-
Joint mobility testing
- This refers to the range of motion within a joint and is the main element of posture and movement.
-
Orthopedic testing
- This type of testing is designed to evaluate any musculoskeletal impairments patients may have. Hence, assessing how a person’s joints move according to the rest of their body is the primary focus of this testing.
-
Neurological testingA neurological testing is the assessment of the sensory and motor neuron responses, (especially reflexes.) This would determine if the nervous system is stable or impaired.
